How do I find the latest in cyberpunk gear?

Each Thursday we bring you great, new, potential additions to your high-tech, low-life arsenal! We always help answer the question, How do I find the latest in cyberpunk gear?

If there is anything the last couple of months have taught us is that the inspiration found online drives the world e.g. /r/wallstreetbets. When diving into the world of street and techwear many of us find it a difficult and daunting task, so where else would we look for inspiration other than online. Thankfully, there’s a Reddit for that too! But, we’ll get there in just a second

We are really just beginning our journey too at BCB Cyber and want to share our experiences in redefining our clothing style with techwear.

What we’ve found so far is that one of the most challenging aspects of creating our own tech’d-up look can be the simple fact that we simply lack the inspiration necessary.

In digging around we found an article posted a few years back on HIGHSNOBIETY that helped clue us in a great deal about people doing it themselves, and that is today’s share. We hope you enjoy that article: “Meet the DIY Geniuses Making Their Own Techwear Garments.”

And just to fast forward… Our Reddit inspirations from that article are linked below as well:

/r/techwearclothing

(better source of individual inspirations)

/r/streetwearstartup

(now more of a catchall street-inspired product lineup)

For more direct inspire, the article put us on to three great clothiers…

ACRONYM®, Guerrilla Group, and Arc’teryx Veilance.

Our challenge we put to ourselves and to all you cyberpunks out there: do it on our own, build a tech’d up wardrobe of technical fabrics like “nylon, GORE-TEX, or Polartec fleece” with functional/structural essence on top of cyberpunk-cityscaped aesthetic. As we add to our style collection, we’ll be sure to share what we discover and give insight into our experience as well. So make sure to come back often. You can be sure we’ll be checking out Reddit along the way and will keep you posted on anything we find truly inspiring. And will share our contributions as well.

Just so you know, we are not sponsored by any of these products, companies, or organizations. We just love to share the coolest gear out there to self-cyberize and make our worlds our own! Make sure to come back soon and to check out more in Cyber-Gear follow this link!
