A Dystopian Sojourn into a Cyber-Gaming Wonderland
Technology advances, but humans don’t. We’re smart monkeys and what we want is always the same: food, shelter, sex and in all its forms – escape.

While the escapism of gaming once compelled me throughout my adolescence, I would be remiss not to admit that I’d lost my way as a gamer. Gone nomad in so many ways.
Sure, I’ve fallen into a few game worlds here and there and gotten lost over the years. Life is Strange, that maddening fall into the time-rewind world of Max Caulfield by phenomenal and long time favorite Square Enix, sure pulled more than a few days of my life away. Definitely worth a check out if not lived already, for you can’t just play it (#CommissionsEarned). You have to live it.
But for the most part, the tech-fueled escapism I’ve been lost to is that of cyber-design, networking and security. There is, however, a titanic shift afoot that is pulling me back into the world of gaming and driving a deep personal desire to share out the worlds of cyberpunk gaming: that being Cyberpunk 2077. In all that follows, BCB Cyber is now beginning a curatorial series with news, reviews, commentaries, and first person experiences to all the high tech, low life game worlds we can dive into.
A High-Tech, Low-Life Cyber World Long Awaited…
Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is about to arrive next month (November 19, 2020) and we can’t wait to get our keyboards onto this one! You can probably guess our preferred format for this incredible dive into the infamous cyberpunk’d Night City! Our fandom unsponsored, we simply love the opportunity for this content to spawn a whole new universe. So, if interested check out the direct buy option for CD Projeckt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 where all proceed go straight to the game developer. We know that’s were we’ll be getting our copy.
The newest project from CD Projeckt Red, the self proclaimed “industry leader in creating role-playing games” (not that we would disagree of course with the likes of The Witcher under their belt) is seemingly about to redefine gaming. The long anticipated arrival of Night City, a dystopic wonderland of low-life highlights including crime, body mods, and bad decision making, is upon us and we can’t stop salivating!
In this brand new open world, action adventure, we are dying to get our crack at pushing, “to the absolute limit to get your hands on Night City’s most valuable implant — a prototype chip that can make you live forever.” Filled with gangs and every opportunity to make the wrong choice, we can’t to meet the Voodoo Boys and “Mama” Brigitte.
